The Ice Dawgs finished out last season with a 2-8 record. The major losses were against Ole Miss and Life University. While the team will not be challenging Life this season, they will play Ole Miss at the BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi in January.
The Ice Dawgs will open their season on October 4th against Auburn University. The team will travel to Columbus, Georgia for this match up. Following the Auburn game, the team will head to Athens, Georgia to take on the University of Georgia Ice Dogs.
On October 17th and 18th, the team will travel to Olive Branch, Mississippi to challenge the University of Memphis Tigers. Last season, the Tigers and the Ice Dawgs competed four times. The game will be played on December 6th.
The four-day tournament at the Ice Dawg’s home ice in Tupelo will begin and end with Ole Miss. In between the Ole Miss games, they will play Louisiana State University on January 16th and Memphis on January 17th.
The season will wrap up with a two game series in Nashville, Tennessee against Middle Tennessee State University.
